Interestingly, Mr. Jamerson was convicted of 5 counts of felony fraud by a US Circuit Court in the early 1930's. His sales and storage building on Illinois Avenue burned down, and he concocted a scheme to defraud the insurance company. He spent quite a few years in jail, and the business closed-down.
